The name of the cottage, ‘Pikkumökki rannalla’ (Little Cottage by the Beach), comes from its compact size of 30 m² and its location on a sandy beach. This cottage can accommodate 3+1 people.
The cottage and the beach
Pikkumökki is a log-built cottage measuring approximately 30m². There is plenty of space in the yard, and you can park your car right next to the cottage. It is about 40 metres from the cottage to the water’s edge, and the sandy beach begins right in front of the terrace. The cottage is bathed in the evening sun, making it the perfect spot for watching the sunset.
Location
The cottage is situated on the western shore of Ölmos, along the holiday road, close to Ölmos beach, the playground and hiking trails. The distance from the Mäntyranta cottage to the nearby beach shelter is approximately 450 metres.

Booking and use of the cottage
The cottage can only be booked via the online system, and the process begins by clicking the ‘Book’ button below the image. If you wish to book multiple properties, add them to your basket and proceed to payment only once all your chosen properties are in the basket.
The cottage is available for the tenant’s use from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival until 12.00 noon on the day of departure. The tenant may only enter the cottage once the booking period has begun.
The property is suitable for winter use and can be booked all year round.
Sauna and sauna use
The cottage has its own electric sauna. The sauna heats up in around 30 minutes and must be switched off immediately after use. As the sauna consumes a considerable amount of electricity, and as we are committed to respecting nature and the environment, we also ask our holidaymakers to be considerate and use energy sensibly. We recommend that you bring your own sauna towel.
Keys
The keys are located in the key box at the property itself. The tenant will be sent the current PIN code for the property’s key box via email or text message to the email address or mobile number approximately one day before the start of the booking.
The tenant is responsible for the key for the duration of their booking. The key must be returned immediately upon the end of the booking to the same key box from which it was taken. A charge in accordance with the terms and conditions will be made for any key that is not returned.
Tidiness, final cleaning and rubbish
The tenant is responsible for keeping the rental property, its grounds and any associated facilities clean. The cottage must be tidied after use. Dishes must be washed, rubbish collected and furniture returned to its original position. Mixed waste may be placed in a sealed plastic bag and taken to the rubbish bin. Bins for organic waste, metal, plastic and cardboard are available at the main house at Ölmosintie 400.
Final cleaning is included in the cottage rental fee; this includes standard cleaning of surfaces and tidying of furniture and beds. Further details can be found in the booking terms and conditions.
